Responsibilities
This position involves:
- Maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities.
- Coordinating with outside service providers/contractors.
- Assisting in response to small hazardous waste spill clean-up following established procedures.
- Providing technical support to lower-level mechanics and/or maintenance apprentices.
- Creating and overseeing overall preventative maintenance program for divisional equipment and facilities.
- Remaining in compliance with personal training requirements of position syllabus.
- Communicating effectively with peers, Engineers, Supervisors, Product Development Chemists/Scientists, and other AR associates.
- Conducting all aspects of position in a professional, respectful manner consistent with Guiding Principles.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Legible handwriting.
