Position Summary
Clinton City is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to manage the Citys human resources operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all HR-related functions, providing essential support to City departments and employees. The HR Generalist will ensure compliance with employment regulations, manage employee records, assist in reporting, and facilitate HR training programs. This position reports directly to the City Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration :
Act as the primary HR contact for Clinton City employees.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and employment regulations.
Develop and conduct HR-related training sessions for supervisors and employees on topics such as compliance, performance management, and workplace policies.
Address employee concerns and resolve issues in a fair and consistent manner.
Collaborate with the City Manager and City Recorder to implement HR programs that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
