Position Details
The Region Director, State of Michigan STEM (MiSTEM) Network, a full-time, executive position, directs and leads the work of a region within the state MiSTEM Network and is the voice of the region at the state level. The Region Director will work to build collaborative partnerships that align regional activities to the statewide strategy and vision as articulated in the four pillars of the MiSTEM Advisory Council report to the state legislature. The Region Director is hired by the MiSTEM Network Executive Director and reports to the MiSTEM Network Executive Director in collaboration with the fiscal and its region’s stakeholders. The Region Director will be positioned as a high-level leader equivalent to or exceeding that of a General Education Director or University Administrator and reports to the fiscal agent for grant compliance purposes.
