What are the responsibilities and job description for the Before and After Care Worker position at Clinton Grace Christian School?
Clinton Grace Christian School of Clinton, MD is looking for a part-time Before Care and After Care teacher/worker who loves God, and is a disciple of Jesus Christ, who also loves students and can fulfill the role with excellence. The start date is immediately upon hire. The worker can do Before Care 6:30-8am and/or After Care 2:30-6pm. Work schedule is flexible.
General Qualifications for Pre K teacher position includes:
- At least 18 years old
- Has or is willing to complete training and relevant health forms to be in compliance with daycare regulations for the state of Maryland.
Qualifying Characteristics:
- Follow the Matthew 18 principle in dealing with conflict
- Meet everyday stress with emotional stability, objectivity and optimism
- Maintain a personal appearance that is a role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste and be in agreement with the school policy
- Use acceptable English in written and oral communication
- Keep confidential information confidential
- Receptive to feedback and opportunities for growth
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- supervise students
- assist students with homework
- support the goals and objectives of the Before/Aftercare Director
- Model the school’s core values (S.O.A.R.) Servant Leadership, Optimism, Accountability, Relationships
- Attend trainings and meetings
Desirable Qualifications
- Computer literate and tech savvy.
