Sales
Conduct Sales calls to existing customers
Actively prospect new customers to develop assigned territory
Utilize cold calling, scheduled visits, telephone and email communications
Respond immediately to incoming inquiries
Follow Up on all quotations and product demonstration in a timely manner
Participate in trade organization and public events as well as company sponsored activities
Perform machine demonstrations and product feature ‘walk-around’
Demonstrate well-developed negotiating and closing techniques
Maintain availability and flexibility in order to respond immediately to customer needs
Promote after-sale business, encourage repeat sales
Product Knowledge
Attend manufacturer sponsored training events
Utilize printed and web based product and training resources to develop product knowledge
Obtain information and support from product manufacturers as required for individual sales
Develop familiarity with competitive products and competitive comparisons
Demonstrate the ability to qualify customer products needs based on jobsite application
Maintain an active awareness of current inventory, rental, and used units available for sale
