A growing healthcare company based in Milford, MA is looking to bring on a Controller on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role involves managing accounting functions, preparing financial statements, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to streamline operations and reduce financial risk.
- Assist with business strategy development by providing financial data and insights for key decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of experience in accounting
- Management or supervision experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferences
- CPA preferred
- QuickBooks and / or Matrix Experience
- Healthcare industry experience
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
