Well established, high volume bar with a focus on craft cocktails, looking for hardworking, amiable, and sharp individuals with wide breath of knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. Bartender should be willing and able to create a whimsical atmosphere and engage with customers in order to build business on their scheduled shifts.
Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting, is knowledgeable about mixology and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a passion for customer service, and strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
Responsibilities:
- Mix drinks according to recipes and customer requests.
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Greet customers and answer questions about menu items and beverages.
- Ensure that all customers are served in a timely manner.
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately.
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
