The Craft Cocktail Bartender at Primrose plays a key role in ensuring an outstanding guest experience through expert mixology, efficient service, and genuine hospitality. You will be responsible for crafting classic and contemporary cocktails with precision, engaging guests with a friendly and knowledgeable approach, and maintaining a well-organized, clean, and efficient bar. The ideal candidate is quick, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to balance speed and quality while creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience & Hospitality:
- Greet and engage guests warmly, making them feel welcome and valued.
- Provide exceptional hospitality, ensuring each guest has a personalized and memorable experience.
- Educate guests on our cocktail menu, making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and inclusive bar environment for guests and staff.
- Cocktail Execution & Bar Service:
- Expertly craft classic and contemporary cocktails with precision, consistency, and efficiency.
- Ensure proper balance and presentation of all beverages, adhering to high-quality standards.
- Use fresh juices, house-made syrups, and premium spirits to elevate the cocktail experience.
- Maintain deep knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, beer, and cocktail history/trends.
- Create an efficient workflow to provide fast and consistent service during peak hours.
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices and ensure guests are served safely.\
- Bar Maintenance & Organization:
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and well-organized bar throughout service.
- Prep fresh ingredients, garnishes, syrups, and batched cocktails as needed.
- Handle glassware, bar tools, and equipment with care and cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Teamwork & Growth:
- Work collaboratively with barbacks, bartenders, servers, and management to ensure smooth service.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal cocktail menus and creative beverage development.
- Stay up to date on cocktail trends, new spirits, and industry innovations.
- Assist in training new staff members and upholding Primrose’s service standards.
- Guest Experience & Hospitality:
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a craft cocktail or high-volume bar setting.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Hospitality-focused mindset—friendly, engaging, and guest-oriented.
• Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain speed and accuracy without compromising quality.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess or obtain the required alcohol service certifications.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
