General Manager – Vibrant Cocktail Bar

We are a new and dynamic cocktail bar dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences through craft cocktails, elevated service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our team, ensure smooth operations, and drive our vision forward. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar operations, from team management and customer service to financial performance and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management

• Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
• Lead by example, setting the standard for excellent guest service and team performance.
• Inspire the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences consistently.

2. Operations Management

• Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor laws.
• Collaborate with bartenders to maintain and enhance the cocktail menu and ensure the highest standards of drink quality.

3. Guest Experience

• Act as the face of the establishment, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.

4. Financial Oversight

• Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue, ensuring the financial success of the bar.
• Analyze sales and operational data to optimize performance and profitability.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to drive traffic and boost business.

5. Culture Building

• Promote a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence within the team.
• Stay current with industry trends, introducing fresh ideas and concepts to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a cocktail-focused bar, upscale lounge, or similar hospitality-driven venue.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and bar operations. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
• Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing profitability.
• Personal Attributes: A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences. Creative problem solver, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old and available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
