As an Internet Sales Representative at Cloninger Ford Toyota, you will play a key role in driving online sales and customer engagement. Your primary responsibility is to respond to inbound customer inquiries, guide potential buyers through the online purchasing process, and ensure a seamless transition from online to in-person interaction. You will act as the initial point of contact for leads generated through the dealerships website, social media channels, and third-party platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound internet leads via phone, email, and text in a timely and professional manner.
  • Qualify leads and gather customer information to determine their vehicle preferences, budget, and financing needs.
  • Provide information on vehicle availability, pricing, features, and promotions.
  • Schedule test drives and follow up with customers to confirm appointments.
  • Use CRM software to track and manage leads, ensuring that all customer interactions are logged accurately.
  • Communicate with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions from online inquiries to in-person meetings.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Provide excellent customer service and build long-term relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have during the purchasing process.
  • Stay up-to-date on dealership products, promotions, and industry trends to better assist customers.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary commission/bonuses based on performance.
  • Benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree in business or a related field is a plus (not a must).
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or automotive retail is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Sheets, and internet-based platforms.
  • A positive, professional demeanor and a customer-first mindset.
  • Valid drivers license
