Overview:
Close the Loop Renewed Solutions is adding a Bilingual Human Resources Specialist to the team! Their objective will be to develop strategies to improve engagement, and manage programs designed to foster team members, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, retention, recognition, and other activities aimed at creating a positive and productive workplace environment, while providing administrative and operational support to Payroll, HR and Operations.

You’ll Contribute By:
Recruiting
- Supports Operations in meeting staffing plan needs
- Writes and manages job postings (internal and external) for needed positions
- Supports recruitment systems for the company
- Screen and interview candidates; offer positions with approval of Managers
- Supports contractor staffing needs with Operations, as necessary
Onboarding
- Schedules and conducts Orientation, Safety Training and HR Onboarding
- Manages Candidate and Employee tracking systems and records for all candidates and new hires
- Orders and tracks company apparel/PPE for new hires
- Supports new employees on regular basis, aiding in retaining talented employees.
- Control & manage compensation and benefits programs, including salaries, bonuses, insurance, and other incentives.
HR/Operations
- Serves as a liaison between HR, Operations, Administration and Production Associates to ensure open lines of communication are always available
- Assist in the creation of a work environment that reinforces our company’s culture
- Plans and Coordinates anniversaries, recognitions, organizing employee special events, including but not limited to team building, safety & environmental awareness, holiday events, and other activities
- Draft letters, emails, reports, and other correspondence in a timely, accurate manner
- Assists in maintaining employee personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and processes employee status changes in a timely fashion
- Assist with the evaluation systems to record and manage employee performance
- Prepares and distribute employee handbook updates as needed
- Assists in the preparation and communication of new policies and policy updates
- Works with staff on developing new HR systems or updates
- Assists HR Labor issues by identifying, addressing, resolving employee conflicts
- Ensures bulletin boards are current with HR information, including required state and federal postings, job postings, and other pertinent information
- Performs other duties as needed to support HR Manager and Management Team
Payroll
- Supports Payroll by verifying employee work hours during payroll processing cycles
- Acts as a back-up to the Payroll Administrator, completing necessary functions during the payroll cycle
- Prepares attendance-related reports on a regular and as requested basis
- Addresses employee attendance issues promptly
To Be Successful You’ll Bring:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Communications, or related field of study, from four-year college or university
- 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate active listening and exhibit organizational skills
- Comfortable speaking and/training to all level of staff and Executive Management team
- Highly social and employee focused with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to solve problems and make proactive recommendations
- Flexible with the ability to respond quickly to changing needs and priorities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure appropriate communication both internally and externally
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Teams as well as Social Media platforms and applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
Work Environment:
- Position works in both an office environment and a production floor environment, including loud noises, vibrations and some airborne particles present
- Position may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and lift up to 25 lbs.
