What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registrar position at Close Up Foundation?
Position Overview | Responsible for registering participants, providing excellent customer service, assigning room numbers, computer data entry, printing reports, and communicating efficiently and effectively with Close Up Program Leaders. Scheduled work hours vary but usually last the entire day and are generally on weekends.
Essential Duties
- Greets the participants in a friendly manner.
- Distributes participant nametags, schedules, and Close Up memorabilia.
- Works together with Concierge staff to ensure all participants feel welcome by demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Coordinates with the hotel front desk and distributes room keys to participants in an orderly fashion.
- Inputs information into Close Up’s database system to be printed and distributed to the Close Up program staff, Night Monitors and hotel front desk employees.
- Communicates any problems or concerns to the Close Up program staff at the hotel.
- Submits an accurate timesheet each week.
- Arrives promptly at hotel with correct uniform and ID badge.
- Travel to their assigned Close Up hotel.

- Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
- At least 18 years of age
- This position is part-time, part-year (seasonal). The current contract period is from February 2025 - June 2025. The hourly rate is $15 and is non-exempt from OT.
