Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support our client for an appeals management project, where you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support our client for an appeals management project, where you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Duties
- Utilizing approved project templates and client feedback; ensure proper formatting is adhered to on project deliverables; correct and modify as necessary
- Review content of project deliverables and ensure proper word usage, consistency in formatting, language and tone and flow of document is maintained; correct and modify as necessary
- Attend various design sessions and follow-up meetings make note of client comments and ensure that necessary modifications are addressed by functional teams
- Collaborate with functional team and write various summary sections of Functional design documents and update terms and definitions section of document and ensure that acronyms are properly spelled out and defined
- Consult with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to prepare new or changes to existing product documentation, manuals, SOPs, etc.
- Produce and/or edit highly technical documentation. Consolidate technical inputs and analyses to produce a logical understandable document.
- Perform content management functions such as document organization using a central repository.
- Collaborate with developers, subject matter experts, and business colleagues to gather information and understand technical concepts.
- Write and edit clear, concise content that meets the target audience's needs, adhering to style guidelines and documentation standards.
- 6 years of experience with technical writing including technical editing, proofreading, copy editing, etc. Must have experience developing technical documentation including test plans, reports, and briefing materials.
- Must possess strong skills in document editing, structure, and logic flow for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of Medicaid systems is a plus
- Ability to quickly absorb new information
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate with other team members
