Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the transportation and logistics activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations:Manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storage, and dispatch of goods.Perform quality checks and verification of received goods against purchase orders.
- Ensure that all items are properly labeled, stored, and reflected accurately in SAP.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse to optimize space and workflow.
- Implement best practices for warehouse organization and inventory control.Shipping & Logistics:Prepare shipments for domestic and international delivery, including documentation and labeling.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and shipping requirements for global destinations.
- Book and coordinate transport for outgoing shipments.
Handle packing for different types of shipments, including service, aftermarket, and project-related goods.Track shipments and coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
Claims & Reporting:
- Manage and process claims for damaged or missing goods.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Work closely with the supply chain and logistics team to optimize warehouse functions.
System & Office Skills:
- Utilize SAP ERP to track inventory, goods movement, and shipments.
- Maintain and update warehouse-related data in Excel and other office software.
- Generate reports related to warehouse performance and stock levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management and logistics coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP systems
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory control
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management and distribution center operations
- Ability to analyze data using tools like Tableau for root cause analysis
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
