What are the responsibilities and job description for the APPRENTICE SPRAY FOAM INSULATION TECHNICIAN position at Cloud9 Performance Insulation?
As an Apprentice to a Lead Spray Foam Technician, you will be responsible for assisting a Lead Tech with loading the materials, preparing the job site, setting up the machine, setting up scaffolding, covering up property from overspray, cleaning up after the job and adhering to safety standards. The job is designed to grow from a part time to a full time over a short period of time and the Apprentice has to have an ambition to grow into a Sprayer role within 1-2 years.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety: Willing to obtain CPI Safety Certification and OSHA10 certification upon employment on company’s time and expense. Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operations: assist the Lead Tech in operating the spray foam insulation equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure proper maintenance. Prepare work site and surfaces for spray foam application. Install spray polyurethane foam based on specifications of each job. Be prepared to work with all types of insulation installs (blown-in, spray foam, and batts) and consistently perform quality checks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, properly cleaning and storing tools and equipment. Remove existing fiberglass insulation with a vacuum or by hand when a job includes the removal of existing insulation.
- Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers. Maintain a professional image and thoroughly clean job site upon completion of the job.
- Professional Development: willing to develop and grow through additionally provided training courses and certifications.
Qualifications:
- 1 years working in construction
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Able to work in challenging construction environments, including hot conditions and confined spaces including attics
- Willingness to pass a pulmonary fit test
- Flexibility to perform additional duties as required, displaying adaptability and initiative.
- Clear post offer drug screening.
- Be able to wear a protective suit and a mask during the entirety of the job
- Able to lift up to 50lbs

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 60 per week
