GENERAL SUMMARY
The Social Media Manager role is for a creative individual with fantastic interpersonal skills and strong leadership who will work closely with internal marketing, licensing and content teams, as well as external partners and licensees to communicate and execute the marketing strategy for Cloudco Entertainment brands. The Social Media Manager will help to position Cloudco Entertainment brands for optimal brand exposure, and report to the VP of Marketing while collaborating in a fast-paced environment with our internal teams.
Location: Remote or based in Cleveland, OH.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Management
- Develop and maintain a cross-platform social media content calendar to align with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
- Create compelling multimedia content, including videos, GIFs, and animations, design key art for social media content and digital ads for various social media platforms, alongside Digital Media Producer and with full support of Cloudco’s creative team and style guide assets.
- Coordinate with Director, International Marketing and regional PR teams to ensure social media content is culturally relevant and regionally optimized.
- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns around key events, product launches, and brand milestones.
- Craft impactful and relevant creative editorial.
- Community management across Facebook and Instagram.
Paid Social Campaigns
- Advise on social media budgets and paid campaigns and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Influencer Campaigns
- Manage a network of brand ambassadors and social media influencers who are well aligned with brand messaging.
Reporting
- Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team to continuously improve Cloudco’s social media presence.
- Analyze market research on needs and desires of consumers and target audience via tools like Meltwater, market research studies or focus groups. Effectively interpret data and apply to future campaigns and promotions.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Craft sales-ready tools, including market-facing presentations to be used by licensing team and agents.
- Internal reporting and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education: Degree in Marketing or related field.
Required Length & Type of Experience:
- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience as a social media manager or similar role.
- Experience with social media marketing tools, like Meltwater or Hootsuite, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with effectively managing paid social campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.
- Knowledge of best practices for social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest.
- Must have the following skills/knowledge - Powerpoint, Keynote, Canva, Adobe Suite.
- Highly organized and able to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional, resourceful, pro-active, and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.
