Job # : 25-00050Job Title : General Liability Associate AttorneyJob Location : Los Angeles, CAPosition Type : Direct PlacementThe firm is offering hybrid / remote work optionsJob Description : A nationally renowned litigation law firm is seeking an experienced General Liability Associate Attorney to join its practice group in one of their California offices : Los Angeles, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, or Irvine. In this role, you will handle both local and national accounts, manage a diverse litigation caseload, and provide critical support for trial preparation. The firm is offering hybrid / remote work options.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Independently manage a litigation caseload for local and national accounts across California.Conduct and prepare for depositions, including witness preparation for deposition and trial.Analyze discovery requests and prepare responses to discovery and pleadings.Prepare court filings and manage the e-filing process.Support trial preparation and execution.Maintain accurate time records and document progress on active cases.Candidate Requirements : Minimum 2 years and up to 7 years of experience in General Liability Defense litigation, with specific experience in product liability, transportation, aviation, and premises liability.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Must be admitted to practice law in California.Must be located near one of the firm's four office locations : San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Los Angeles, or Irvine.Proven experience with motion practice, depositions, and taking the lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Experience with e-filing and court filings is essential.
