**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases.
**Responsibilities:**
Key Responsibilities:
RDS MySQL -- Purpose, Transactional DB
MongoDB on EC2 -- Purpose, Metadata DB for JBPM tool
RDS PostgreSQL -- Purpose, Metadata DB for FormIO tool
Database Management: Manage AWS RDS MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB(on EC2) databases in development, testing, and production environments. Perform database maintenance tasks, including performance tuning, HA, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required. Optimize database systems for performance efficiency.
Security Management: Implement and maintain database security protocols to ensure data integrity. This includes managing user access, setting up firewalls, and maintaining data confidentiality.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot database issues; ensure that all database systems run smoothly and securely.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Dev team and management to provide technical support and to develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides related to the AWS RDS MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Database Administrator.
Proficiency with AWS RDS MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Understanding of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
Problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
