Intake Administrator

Position Summary

The Intake Administrator plays a critical role in providing outstanding client service, maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations, and ensuring smooth operational support. This position serves as a key contact point for clients, offering assistance through chat and phone, managing documentation, and supporting the daily functions of the assigned pod.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety protocols to maintain a compliant and safe work environment. Stay informed on regulatory updates and participate in necessary training to support adherence to compliance standards.
• Faxes and Cancellations: Manage faxes and handle medication cancellations for the assigned pod efficiently and accurately. Ensure proper documentation and communication regarding changes or updates to prescriptions.
• Additional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks as directed by the Senior Intake Specialist to support operational efficiency and team success.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or customer service is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle client concerns effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using relevant software tools, including chat platforms and document management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to evolving tasks and priorities. Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality standards (HIPAA).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
