CloudShape is experiencing rapid growth within our IT & Engineering Portfolio. We are currently seeking a talented Azure System Administrator to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for managing our Azure environment and Azure Virtual Desktop.

To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position on a 5 year contract and is contingent upon government approval of a candidate and verification of their security clearance prior to starting with CloudShape.

Basic Qualifications :

A minimum of six (6) years of Microsoft Windows System administration with 3 years of Azure experience
An ability to configure, manage, and support Microsoft Azure Domain Services / Entra Domain Services and Entra ID
Experience with configuring, managing and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Desktops and Virtual Networks
An ability to support integrating and connecting Azure Virtual Networks with On-Premise networks
Experience with auditing Azure Activity Logs and Insights
Proficiency in Powershell
US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance is required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience managing Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktops and images

Experience managing Intune or other Endpoint Management

Proficient in Azure CLI

What a new CloudShape team member can expect starting out :

During the first 30 days of employment onboarding activities to include training requirements, program overviews, system familiarization, and department-specific training will establish a solid foundation for the new CloudShape team member. Introductions to management and team leads will provide insight into the team dynamics while identifying key areas where the new CloudShape team member can provide value to the program.

Day 30 through 90 will consist of further integrating the new CloudShape team member into daily activities with a team lead to guide them. Tasks will be assigned in accordance with the appropriate pace needed to ensure process and system assimilation.

Day 90 and onward will consist of mission-guided projects and opportunities for the new CloudShape team member to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment. From leading day-to-day activities in the operations department, this person will have the ability to invest in their future while delivering maximum value to our customer.
