Your focus will include:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets during all project phases, from conceptual design to construction completion.

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to guide project decision-making.

• Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with approved financial parameters.

• Track and report on cost variations, ensuring timely identification and resolution of budget overruns.

• Lead value engineering exercises to optimise project costs without compromising design integrity or compliance.

• Prepare cost breakdowns and tender documents for contractor bidding processes.

• Review and evaluate contractor and supplier bids, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness.

• Provide recommendations on procurement strategies and contract negotiations.

• Work closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to align cost planning with project goals and requirements.

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in cost planning or quantity surveying, with at least 5 years specialising in healthcare construction projects (e.g., hospitals, clinics, outpatient facilities).

• Proven ability to manage budgets for large-scale and complex projects effectively.

• Strong understanding of healthcare construction requirements, including infection control, medical equipment integration, and regulatory compliance.

• Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Procore) and financial modelling tools.
