What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler - Home Health Care position at Clover Senior Care?

This position is responsible for the day-to-day (within the current week) scheduling of caregivers, making sure client shifts are covered. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are necessary to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, caregivers, office and management staff. Job requires ability to keep calm through complex and difficult situations.

Qualifications Experience in home health care, caregiving, and scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Day-to-Day Scheduling: Responsible for managing the schedule day-to-day. Handling call offs and finding caregivers to fill any open shifts within the current week. Making sure that all issues, changes, call offs, NCNS are documented appropriately in AxisCare.
  • Monitoring Missed Clock-ins/outs: Responsible for monitoring and addressing missed clock in notifications as they happen. Responsible for addressing missed clock outs within a 24- hour window. Updating geo locations as needed.
  • Phones: Responsible for answering calls and monitoring texts on a daily basis.
  • End of Day Calls: Responsible for making end of day calls/texts to clients reminding them of their shift coverage the following day/weekend.
  • On Call Rotation: Responsible for 1-2 weekends per month and 1-2 weekdays per week
  • Direct Client care: Responsible for covering client shifts as needed and/or assigned by Office Manager or a member of the Executive Team.
  • Lost revenue reporting: Responsible for maintaining lost revenue logs, providing weekly reports to the Executive Team, and deleting unassigned visits once logged.
  • Skills training: Responsible for assisting with hands on skills training for caregivers, as needed.
  • New caregiver supplies: Assist with preparing new caregiver supplies and name badges, as needed.
  • Office cleaning and organizing: Assist with the daily upkeep of the Clover office.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Additional Job Requirements:

  • 2 or more years experience in Home Health Scheduling
  • Axiscare Software Required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, car insurance & reliable transportation
  • Must have current TB test
  • Must have current CPR certification (we have resources to get you certified)

Pay: $20.00 per hour
