We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Accounting team. This position is responsible for supporting the Accounting Department by maintaining accurate and timely accounts receivable records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process daily deposits, including electronic data interchange (EDI) checks
- Generate and enter customer invoices; reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
- Post customer payments and maintain accurate receivable records
- Communicate with customers to resolve questions, discrepancies, or other account-related matters
- Assist with departmental projects and tasks as needed
- Compile and maintain daily invoicing reports, deposit summaries, and customer statements
- Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Shipping, Customer Support, and Finance
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in an accounting, accounts receivable, or credit management role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong data entry and 10-key skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain confidentiality
- Understanding of credit management and general accounting practices
