GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Used Golf Car Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting our extensive inventory of quality pre-owned golf cars and parts. This position requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products. As a Used Golf Car Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their requirements, and matching them with suitable vehicles. You will be expected to maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends to provide the best service possible. Your role will not only involve direct sales but also contributing to marketing efforts, participating in promotional events, maintaining accurate sales records, and working with our Channel. This position will manage our West Region and be based in Riverside, California.
Essential Job Functions:- Represents Club Car selling used equipment consisting of Certified Pre-owned golf cars, used golf cars, and utility vehicles to dealers and distributors within assigned territory
- Quote and negotiates prices and credit terms
- Creates orders, work orders and transportation requests within Sales Force
- Meets or exceeds financial objectives set by the Senior Leadership Team
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by traveling assigned territory visiting dealers, golf courses, and other accounts
- Provide expert guidance to customers regarding product features and benefits.
- Promotes OEM parts when selling used equipment and enters parts opportunities
- Works with the Channel Development Team to identify new buyers of used equipment
- Works with Regional Managers, Territory Managers, and Parts Sales Specialists to increase Club Cars market share
- Manage and control sales-related expenses
- Maintains reports for sales leaders
- Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment and performs monthly vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate sales records and inventory management
- And all other duties as assigned
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within used equipment sales or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and establish trust with customers
- Knowledge of golf cars and their features is a plus
- Proficient in using sales software such as SalesForce
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Current West Region
- Other duties as assigned.
