Houseperson
Full Time
$15.25/Hour
Schedule: Friday - Tuesday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Location: Gatlinburg Town Square by Exploria Resorts
Job Summary:
The Houseperson will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper and is responsible for the linen, trash and floors of the guest units within the resort. The position requires a certain amount of physicality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver linen bags for designated units
- Strip designated units of linens, towels, and trash
- Deliver inventory to designated units and respond to guest calls as needed
- Keep designated floors clear of linen and trash throughout the shift
- Designated floors must be cleaned before the end of shift
- Complete all daily tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Close cart rooms at end of each shift
- Stock supply cabinets and cart rooms
- Supply linen for room attendants as needed throughout shift
- Clean house person linen cart at end of shift
- Clean carpets to all units as needed
- All other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to read and write in English
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Self-starter
- Willingness to learn
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to crouch, stand, twist, push and pull throughout the work day.
