Human Resources Coordinator
Job Purpose
The HR Coordinator assists with administrative tasks related to HR processes at Club Fit. This position is well suited for individuals with at least one year of HR experience and provides direct involvement in various HR functions. Success in this role requires teamwork with the Human Resources Team and all staff, demonstrating trust, integrity, and a commitment to ethical practices. It also involves embracing change and growth, fostering genuine hospitality, paying attention to detail, strengthening our sense of community, and prioritizing the well-being of both members and staff
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
Assist managers with employee changes and onboarding by processing new hire paperwork.
Maintain accurate employee records in Club Fit’s Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Respond to basic HR inquiries and provide policy guidance.
Generate monthly reports on staff data, including anniversaries, birthdays, and active/inactive headcount.
Coordinate staff-related events.
Process performance management and improvement plans.
Administer exit surveys and track feedback.
Support monthly and annual HR projects and system updates.
Department Support & Compliance
Participate in HR team meetings and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal, local, and company HR policies and procedures.
Maintain organized records and documentation within the HR Drive Only.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
At least one year of HR experience (internships accepted).
Familiarity with HR systems (Dayforce and Workday preferred).
Willingness to pursue ongoing HR education and professional development.
Skills:
Ability to support staff by actively listening to and documenting conflict resolution situations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-changing work environment.
Additional Requirements
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 lbs.
Must be able to work in both club locations, Briarcliff Manor and Jefferson Valley, NY.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Human Resources Director.
Pay Range:
$27-30/hour
Salary : $27 - $30
