Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining product displays, and handling cash transactions efficiently. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
• Provide knowledgeable information about products to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Operate cash registers accurately, processing sales transactions and handling cash with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring product displays are appealing and well-stocked.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and promote store promotions.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in grocery store settings is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
