What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Assistant position at Club Northwest?
Club Northwest is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Assistant to join our team and support the maintenance and cleanliness of our World Class facility. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are well-maintained and presentable, as well as providing general facility support to various departments.
The right individual for this role will have a love for working with their hands, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned by the Operations Manager, including minor repairs, equipment upkeep, and basic handyman duties.
- Perform routine cleaning duties to ensure the facility remains spotless and welcoming, including locker rooms, restrooms, public areas, and fitness equipment.
- Ensure all amenities are stocked and readily available for members, including toiletries, towels, and water coolers.
- Keep outdoor areas clean and well-maintained to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the facility.
- Respond promptly to member facility needs, addressing any concerns or requests immediately.
- Organize and maintain a well-stocked shop area with necessary tools, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations and provide support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in general facility support, handyman tasks, and cleaning is preferred.
- General mechanical inclination and basic knowledge of tools and equipment for facility repairs.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills to interact with members and team members.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects as required.
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM
