Pilates Reformer Instructor
Club Northwest is seeking a passionate and certified Pilates Reformer Instructor to join our team and help members achieve their wellbeing goals.
As a Pilates Reformer Instructor at Club Northwest, you will play an integral role in guiding members through dynamic and effective reformer-based workouts. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing safe, engaging, and results-driven sessions while fostering a welcoming and empowering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead private and small-group Pilates Reformer sessions, tailoring workouts to individual needs and goals.
- Provide expert instruction on proper form, breathing, and movement patterns to enhance strength, flexibility, and mobility.
- Create progressive, engaging class formats that accommodate a variety of fitness levels.
- Educate members on the benefits of Pilates and how it supports overall health and fitness.
- Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and proper setup of reformer equipment before and after each session.
- Stay informed on industry trends and continuing education to provide the best instruction possible.
- Collaborate with the Club Northwest team to enhance the member experience.
Qualifications:
- Current Pilates Reformer Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., STOTT, Balanced Body, BASI, Polestar, Peak).
- CPR/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Previous experience instructing Pilates Reformer classes or private sessions preferred.
- Strong ability to adapt sessions to accommodate various fitness levels, injuries, or modifications.
- Passion for health, wellbeing, and helping others reach their fitness goals.
- Excellent communication skills and a welcoming, professional demeanor.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible scheduling with opportunities for both private sessions and group classes.
- Commission-based pay structure, with rates varying based on session type and performance:
- Private Sessions: Base hourly rate with commission growth up to 60% based on factors such as sales performance, client retention, and total client volume.
- Group Classes: Competitive per-class rate, with opportunities for increased earnings based on attendance and engagement.
- Additional Duties: Non-instructional tasks (such as consultations or administrative support) may be compensated at a separate rate.
