What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Sales Associate position at Club Pilates?
POSITION:
The ideal Front Desk Sales Associate will assist the team with creating new prospect leads, developing leads into new members, and managing existing membership base.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting tours of the facility, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere, retail sales and merchandising, and participating in special events to help promote the studio.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
- Previous experience working in fitness membership sales and/or customer service is a plus
- Proficient with social media, previous experience marketing using social media is a plus
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
- Ability to learn and use the our fitness software system
- Ability to multi-task and remain cool under pressure, particularly in difficult customer service situations
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
- Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must communicate professionally and effectively to clients and colleagues
- Must have excellent public speaking skills
- Must have proficient computer skills
- Valid drivers’ license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Must have a clean DMV record and successfully pass background check. Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
- Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants
- Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
- Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
- Present available services to current or prospective members
- Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
- Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
- Other duties as assigned
