Position Overview: Preschool Teacher
At Club Pure, our Preschool Teachers play a vital role in shaping the future of young learners. As a Preschool Teacher, you’ll be both a role model and a nurturing guide, dedicated to maintaining a safe, clean, and inspiring classroom environment. Beyond just teaching, you'll be passionate about igniting curiosity, building confidence, and creating a space where every child feels encouraged to explore and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Daily Lesson Plans: Deliver age-appropriate and engaging lessons that spark creativity and learning.
- Foster a Safe Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure classroom while promoting the emotional and physical safety of all students.
- Support Children’s Development: Encourage imaginative play, self-esteem, and curiosity in the classroom.
- Model Positive Behavior: Join students during meal and snack times to promote good table manners and social skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to ensure school security and overall classroom success.
- Flexibility: Assist in other classrooms as needed to support the needs of the school.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
- CDA (Child Development Associate) certification preferred.
- Completion of 45 DCF credit hours.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for early childhood education and development.
Compensation:
- Hourly position with weekly pay.
- Compensation based on experience.
- 30 hours available, with flexibility to work in a VPK classroom when needed.
