POSITION SUMMARY
CLUES' Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), Abriendo Caminos , will be providing immediate access to supportive, high-quality, culturally responsive, and integrated Behavioral Health services and pathways to wellness for the Latinx Community, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. The CCBHC model provides CLUES with a model for sustainable Behavioral Health service provision, which translates to increased access to consistent care for wellness in the Latinx community.
CLUES' CTSS Skills Trainer provides mental health skills training to children who qualify for receiving Children's Therapeutic Supports and Services (CTSS).

Reports to : Senior Manager of Outpatient Mental Health & CTSS
Location : CLUES Minneapolis Behavioral Health Clinic. Flexibility required to work from our Saint Paul location as needed.
Position Type : Regular
Schedule : Full-Time. Generally, Monday - Friday office hours, with occasional evening hours to accommodate clients as needed.
Estimated Pay : $21.25 to $25.00 (depending on experience & qualifications).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide skills training to children within the CTSS program. Skills training is medically necessary when the child has lost behavioral skills or failed to develop behavioral skills compared to others of similar age as a result of their diagnosed mental health disorder. Skills training may also be delivered to help the youth to self-monitor, compensate for, cope with, counteract, or replace skills deficits or maladaptive skills acquired during the course of a psychiatric illness.
Skills training delivered to children, or their families must be targeted to the specific deficits or maladaptive behaviors of the child's mental health disorder and must be prescribed in the child's individual CTSS treatment plan.o Skills training typically focuses on the child. It can also include family skills training, which typically involves parents or caregivers.
