The Accounting Coordinator performs overall accounting administration and support functions for Project Accounting and Corporate Accounting Groups, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounting transactions and records. They manage Clune’s accounts receivable functions, service and CSP billing functions, and provide overall subcontractor payment application support to Project Accounting Group to ensure timely collection of waivers, client billings, and payments.
Essential Functions:
• Provide overall accounting administration support to Project and Corporate Accounting Groups and act as back-up when required to cover for out of office Project Accountants.
• Manage full function of Accounts Receivable, Service Billings, and CSP Billings.
• Research Job, AR, and AP transactions as needed to support daily and periodic transactional and reporting processes.
• Prepare and distribute periodic reports including ad-hoc reports as requested and directed by management and business.
• Assist in providing prompt responses to outside and inter-departmental accounting inquiries to address issue/resolution.
• Maintain accounting files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices and provide supporting documentation for audits when necessary.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of 1-3 years education and experience in Accounting or related field preferred
• Experience with overall Accounts Receivable and Accounting Administration Support preferred
• Experience with electronic vendor invoice workflows and electronic filing systems preferred
• Experience in CMiC or other ERP systems preferred
