What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1.0 ENL Teacher position at Clyde-Savannah Central School District?
Clyde-Savannah Central Schools is pursuing a highly-qualified candidate for the position of full-time ENL (English as a New Language) Teacher.
The successful candidate will:
- work with a student population of up to 10 English Language Learners, ranging from Kindergarten to High School.
- provide push-in/pull-out ENL support as required per ENL Units of Study;
- administering required assessments
- communicating regularly with caregivers, community, faculty and staff;
- participate in family engagement events before and during the school year
- collaborate with district ENL providers
- collaborate with principals and PPS director on scheduling, testing, providing professional development to staff
- collaborate with instructional staff on supporting ENL students, translation services
- participate in Student Support Team, 504, CSE meetings pertaining to ENL students
- engage in professional growth opportunities
- other duties related to adherence to Part 154 regulations.
Job Qualifications
NYS certified ENL teacher or pathway towards ENL certification; TESOL Certification.
