- Shift begins at 6:00am and ends at 4:30pm
- There are two schedules (A & B) available. Initially, you will work a temporary training schedule and once we are in the busy season you will begin your core schedule:
Schedule A: Temporary schedule: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (OFF Mon, Tues, Sat)
Core schedule: 3 weekdays & 1 weekend day
Schedule B: Temporary schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (OFF Weds, Sat, Sun)
Core schedule: 3 weekdays & 1 weekend day

The Processor/Machine Operator is a crucial role where reliability, integrity, and adaptability is essential. Our patented technology allows us to process thousands of containers each hour. However, we rely on our team to facilitate this process and ensure proper operation of machinery, including sorting machinery, balers, and candensors. This entry level work is fast-paced and easy to learn with the support of initial and on-going training. This work is highly valued and has a direct impact on customers, the community, and the environment. Each action must be done with the customer in mind to ensure the highest level of integrity and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working independently, is safety-conscious, and has relevant production/assembly experience.
Essential Functions
- Repetitively open customer bags and manually sort product (glass, aluminum, plastic, ceramic) onto conveyor belt
- Visually scan product for defects or outliers and remove non-redeemable product
- Use hand-held tools such as scanners to manually scan product
- Push carts of product to your conveyor line
- Maintain consistent pace and accuracy to meet hourly and daily goals
- Provide floor support to assist team
- Communicate effectively with others including Transportation and Maintenance team
- Follow all safety protocols and policies
- Other duties as assigned

- Physical requirements: Able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push, pull, lift, twist, turn, bend, kneel, squat, bend, and climb. Must be able to repetitively lift bags weighing up to 60lbs. Solid hand-eye coordination.
