  • Monitor pool activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and residents.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new staff members
  • Provide training and mentorship to new hired employees, as well as ongoing training for existing employees.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the pool area and ensure optimal performance of staff.
  • Coordinate employee time-off requests and create seasonal work schedules.
  • Inform the Pool Manager regarding documentation or equipment needs.
  • Develop or update pool and website documentation, including policies, equipment information, registration details, budgets, etc., in collaboration with the Board, Office Manager, and Community Management Associates (CMA) as required.
  • Prepare the pool area for the start and end of each season, which involves cleaning, arranging or storing deck furniture, painting, purchasing, and repairing items. Engage professionals for larger tasks when necessary, in coordination with the Board, Office Manager, and CMA.
  • Ensure staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Respond appropriately to any escalation or emergency situations and document all incidents.
  • Assist with general maintenance of the pool and surrounding area. Engage professionals for major repairs or tasks as needed, in coordination with the Board, Office Manager, and CMA.
  • Welcome and register pool members from four neighborhoods, encompassing approximately 615 households, and address any issues that arise.
  • Enforce pool rules and ensure the safety of all pool members, guests, and employees while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Manage the purchase, organization, and sale of food and beverage items.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels and cleanliness of both the 100,500-gallon pool and the 2,700-gallon pool, purchasing necessary chemicals.
  • Maintain the pool during the off-season to facilitate a smooth reopening in the Spring season.
  • Coordinate with the Office Manager on pool card online registration and collaborate with staff to produce and distribute pool cards to eligible homeowners.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Must be able to swim.
  • Must be responsible, honest and reliable, and able to attend work on a regular basis.
  • Must be practical and stay calm in an emergency.
  • Must understand safe working practices as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Must pass the Drug Test.
  • Must pass the Background Check.

Payrate: $18 - $20 per hour based on experience

Requirements:

  • Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed
  • Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
  • Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 40 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day.
