Your Responsibilities
Partake in extensive training relevant to machinery and equipment
Proactively check and identify equipment issues
Oversee the repair and upkeep of machinery such as cranes, shears, and welders
Guide and instruct fellow maintenance personnel
Engage actively with our Safety Programs and embody the CMC Safety Ethos
Adapt to and perform tasks as required
Conduct repairs using various tools, ensuring safety under diverse conditions
Cater to building maintenance needs
Plan projects with oversight on labor and timelines
Manage procurement of necessary repair parts and track requisitions
Educate operators on correct machine usage
Collaborate effectively with technicians on job reports and challenges
Maintain cleanliness and organize the workspace; ensure tool usability
Execute maintenance expectations, document via digital platforms; handle time logs, notifications, and assessments
Skills and Expectations
Capability to work outdoors across varying weather conditions
Flexibility to cross-train as per demand
Proficient in industrial electrical tasks, including analyzing valve and switch operations, handling A/C and D/C components
Background in handling and mending industrial machines
Preferred 6 years of experience in intense industrial environments
Expertise in hydraulic and electrics, bolstered by both mechanical and electrical know-how
Welding experience is advantageous
Adhere to OSHA, EPA, and our safety regulations
Possess robust work ethics with safety-focused practices
Collaborative spirit with detail-oriented approach, keen to tackle origins of issues
Availability for overtime as dictated by business needs
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, manage ladders, and endure work in all weather conditions
Competent in comprehending engineering documentation and service protocols
Skillful in drafting instructional training documentation
Education and Qualifications
A High School diploma, GED, or similar experience is needed
