What You'll Do
- Champion and ensure adherence to CMC’s Guiding Principles, Code of Conduct, Culture, and policies and procedures
- Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
- Supervise the production operators as they shear, bend, and load rebar to customer specifications
- Meet or exceed safety, production, quality, and inventory management targets set by management
- Set clear objectives and hold employees accountable
- Ensure and facilitate the training of new employees
- Ensure that business is conducted with the highest standards of quality and integrity
- Act as liaison between Senior Management and subordinate levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, and policies
- Minimum 2 years experience as supervisor, preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in rebar shop operations, preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
