CMDS, one of New Jersey’s leading marketing companies, is currently seeking a motivated PHP Developer who is looking for an opportunity to learn and grow. The ideal candidates will be self-motivated with good communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, 4 years of web development experience, and will be deadline-oriented.
Projects will range from custom theme WordPress installs, launching sites, website maintenance to creating fully customizable websites in WordPress, building web applications, and debugging.
We’re looking for someone who…
- Can chop up designs created in Photoshop and prepare for dev
- Has good working knowledge with customizing WordPress, and is familiar with theme / plugin creation and modification
- Has excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, AJAX, PHP, and MySQL
- Has a basic understanding of how to connect with third-party API services, both sending and retrieving data
- Has strong time management skills; ability to manage multiple time-sensitive assignments simultaneously
- Has responsive design and Bootstrap framework experience
- Has the ability to work well individually and on a team
- Is a quick learner who can take an assignment or project and run with it
- Is hard-working and willing to pitch in wherever is needed
- Is eager to learn and thinks outside the box
- Brings a positive attitude and enthusiasm to the studio

Compensation : Up to $65,000.00 per year
We’ll pay for approximately 50% of your medical, 100% dental, 2 weeks paid vacation plus holidays and EVERY Friday off as well as give you a great place to grow.
