Are you a skilled Application Support Specialist with a passion for solving problems and managing critical systems across an organization? Do you thrive on working independently and taking ownership of challenges?
If you have experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, application support, and system integrations, we’d love to talk to you! In this role, you will monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions while also managing and optimizing other key software platforms throughout the company. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations and effective data exchanges across multiple systems.
You’ll collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to keep our applications running efficiently and reliably. This position is based at our Warwick, RI location and offers a fast-paced, dynamic, and rewarding work environment.
What You’ll Do:
- EDI Management: Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, ensuring seamless data exchanges between internal systems and external partners.
- Software Management: Oversee and optimize key software platforms used across the company to maintain reliability and scalability.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level support for internal software users, resolving inquiries efficiently and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Integration Management: Collaborate with trading partners, developers, and business analysts to implement and optimize EDI workflows and other system integrations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation and user-friendly guides for applications and systems.
- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement improvements, and ensure smooth cross-departmental operations.
- Issue Resolution: Escalate or resolve tickets as necessary while delivering exceptional customer service.
What You Should Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (3-5 years preferred).
- Proven expertise in managing and supporting diverse software platforms across an organization.
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
- Proficiency in Linux, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Familiarity with database management and integration best practices.
- A proactive, independent problem-solver with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
