The Global Assurance team is responsible for performing internal audits and assessing risk across the organization. The Director Global Assurance Analytics role is responsible for leading the data analytics team and initiatives in addition to assessing risk and executing audits. The scope of the role includes advanced technical and operational skills to support management reporting, risk assessments, control monitoring, and department operations. Additionally, the role helps establish and lead the implementation of Global Assurance’s Data Analytics Strategy such as the development of data analytics roadmap, collaborates with internal partners on robotic process automation and Artificial Intelligence initiatives, and periodically updates the Audit Committee on Global Assurance’s use of data analytics.Principle Accountabilities : Develop short, medium, and long term strategic objectives and initiatives for the data analytics team Identify and incorporate best practices for data analytics teamOversee data analytics projects, including audit specific projects and non-audit specific projects such as robotic process automation, continuous control monitoring, and other advanced analytic tool developmentRecruit, train, and oversee data analytics team members development and performanceReviewing work products, execution against audit analytics methodology, management reporting, and other ad hoc responsibilitiesEvaluate new analytics tools and technologiesOwn data analytics methodology, standards, and processes and ensure high quality executionPreferred Skills : Experience working at large, multinational companies, supporting global teams and processesExperience managing teams with international deliveryAdvanced problem solving and analytical skillsStrong knowledge of advanced data analytics processes, tools, and conceptsProficiency in statistical analysis, and knowing how to identify bias so it can avoidedAdvanced in programming languages Python and Oracle PL / SQLProficient in GCP data services (e.g., BigQuery, Looker) and TableauExperience in Robotics Process Automation (e.g. Automation Anywhere)Proficiency with Google Workspace toolsStrong knowledge of Internal AuditEffective communicator - must be able to succinctly communicate technical concepts to non-technical leaders #LI-hybridCME Group is committed to offering a competitive total rewards package for our employees that recognizes their contributions to the business and reflects our long-term investment in their future.
