What are the responsibilities and job description for the 25-10542 Client Services Specialist - ITRS - Recovery Lead position at CMHA Candidate Experience Site?
Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Integrated Treatment and Recovery Services (ITRS) Clinical Supervisor, provides liaison and consultation for ITRS in regards to recovery initiatives for persons with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Performs a wide range of direct and indirect behavioral health services within the community and the program. Duties include a variety ITRS program level tasks such as serving as the lead with recovery initiatives, development, support, and tracking of recovery initiatives, and providing day to day support to Peer Recovery Coach staff. Provides supporting services and direct interventions with consumers in accordance with treatment plans. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s Mission policies and procedures.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required. A minimum of two years of professional experience working with persons with behavioral health needs is required. Candidate will provide crisis intervention as needed. Must be able to operate a computer and have the ability to gain proficiency in CMHA-CEI’s computer systems including: SmartCare, REMI, and Microsoft Word. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required. Must be a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or must become certified within a maximum of three years from date of hire or change in regulation.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, educational background check, and verification of an acceptable work history Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen. Must pass an initial and annual Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) check.
Hours/Salary: $24.04 - $27.33 per hour 40 hours a week Monday-Friday business hours
