What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Manager position at CMI Equipment Sales?
Job Duties:
- Makes physical calls to all Municipal and State Accounts
- Creates and maintains sales volumes relative to the potential for sales within a specific area
- Establishes new customers as well as maintaining current ones
- Acts as liaison between the company and customers to assure proper information is provided regarding product, pricing, warranty, accounting and other business activities
- Attends all product demonstrations, trade shows and sales meetings requested by the company
- Maintains daily communication with sales coordinator
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Self-Motivated with a strong work ethic
- Good human relation skills
- Excellent phone and communication skills
- Ability to plan and organize
- Experience with municipal sales and knowledge of state and government contracts
- Knowledge of heavy equipment industry
- Excellent driving record/skills -- Must be able to obtain class B -CDL license
- Ability to operate company equipment, demonstrate and effectively transfer that knowledge to end-users
