Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
On-Site Location : CMI Group, 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 (This is an in-person, on-site position)
Requirement : Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR
Classification : Full Time, exempt

Duties & Responsibilities
Process day to day invoices, verifying and reconciling invoice discrepancies, while utilizing the procurement software.
Have a strong understand of Invoice 3 way match and verify those matches
Confirm that invoices are coded to the proper GL account
Communicate with vendors and employee concerning payment inquires, billing discrepancies, new vendor set up and other AP related areas
Work along side Procurement personnel to resolve issues as needed
Willing to go above the call of duty
Manage the AP inbox and electronic AP files
Assist with Month End closing
Able to work as a cross functional team player as well as independently in a fast pace environment
Assist with the payment process, including initiating electronic and wire payments
Maintain a clear schedule of payment obligations and ensure timely payments to vendors
Reconcile vendors statements
Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with vendors and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner to assist in optimizing vendor performance
Continuously access and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of 5 years AP experience
Strong communication, and organization skills
Able to self-manage and meet weekly deadlines
Intermediate Excel skills
QuickBooks online a plus
Self-starter with a high attention to details
Professional attitude and reliable
Proficient in Adobe PDF
Cross functional team player
