Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our dynamic team. You will work directly with a team of technicians to design, manage and maintain the IT infrastructure of our customers throughout the Cincinnati Area. You will be relied upon to manage client IT infrastructures (servers, PCs, networks and mobile devices), troubleshoot and resolve issues and complete projects (such as systems design, network design and installation).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for computer hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Assist in the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Support computer networking tasks, including LAN setup and maintenance.
- Offer desktop support for both Mac OS and Windows environments.
- Utilize Autotask for tracking incidents and managing service requests efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to understand their technical needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain documentation related to IT processes, procedures, and inventory management.
- Participate in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software as needed.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experencience in an IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts, specifically LAN configurations.
- Experience with Mac OS is preferred; proficiency in Windows environments is essential.
- Ability to manage IT infrastructure components effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with users at all levels of technical proficiency.
- Previous experience in desktop support or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Autotask or similar ticketing systems is a plus.
