Oil & Gas Accountant

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Joint Interest Billing responsibilities

• Coding & recording non-operated JIBs

• Monthly calculation of depreciation, depletion and amortization (DD&A) in the Fixed Asset System

• Account Reconciliations & Supporting Schedules

• Journal Entries & Financial Analysis

• Process & Build Adhoc Reports 

• Assist with the Accounting Close Process

• Perform special assignments

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas Accounting

• Experience with Energy Link and OpenInvoice

• Ability to work independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is preferable or related experience

• Excalibur Software Experience Preferred
