Position Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Director of Recruitment for our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) in Lawrence, New York. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Qualifications of the Director of Recruitment:
- 5 years in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership rolepreferably in long-term care, Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ), or healthcare staffing.
- Familiarity with hiring requirements for nurses (CNA, LPN, RN), therapists, and support staff within regulatory guidelines (state and federal).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale a recruiting team, establish KPIs, and create systems to improve hiring efficiency and retention.
- Experience with recruitment analytics, workforce planning, and building pipelines to meet short- and long-term hiring goals.
- Able to represent the company externally, manage candidate experience, and promote the
- organization as an employer of choice.
- Build and execute strategic hiring plans to meet workforce needs across multiple nursing home facilities, including both clinical and non-clinical roles.
- Manage a team of recruiters and coordinators, providing training, support, and performance
- feedback to ensure recruiting goals are met.
- Build relationships with nursing schools, staffing agencies, and community partners to create a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Monitor time-to-fill, turnover, and candidate experience data to continuously improve recruitment practices and reduce vacancies.
- Ensure recruitment practices are inclusive, aligned with company values, and fully compliant with employment laws and healthcare-specific regulations.
