Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

CMSP Associates is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with experience in aerospace and/or manufacturing industries. This role will involve acting as the primary point of contact for customers, managing contracts, handling order scheduling, and overseeing document control processes. The ideal candidate will be skilled in communication, contract negotiation, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main liaison for customers, handling inquiries, orders, and customer service issues.
• Review, negotiate, and amend contracts with customers and suppliers, ensuring adherence to legal and contractual obligations.
• Manage documentation control, including both digital and physical formats, ensuring proper retention and confidentiality.
• Coordinate order entry, prepare quotations, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Prepare and distribute shipping documents, track customer shipments, and maintain communication with customers regarding shipping details.
• Monitor customer performance metrics and engage with customer portals for account management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong written and verbal communication, along with exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracts (preferably ITAR, AS9100, ISO9001).
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant industry experience with a focus on aerospace or rubber manufacturing is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.99 - $28.00 per hour
