What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Assistant position at CMT Services Inc?
CMT Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Instructional Assistant who will provide excellent customer service, under supervision, in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Duties:
- Intake and proctor students for in-person and remote/online testing; includes entering data and monitoring testing activity in the designated test administration platform on in-person and entering testing data at the end of each administration
- Screen students using online databases and assist with entering data about student and faculty use of the Assessment Centers
- Provide information and a wide variety of technical support to incoming and current students, faculty and staff, including the submission of exams and registering for test appointments
- Provide information to Center users and public through in-person, telephone, and online communications
- Comply with the Montgomery College Student Code of Conduct
- Maintain a quiet, secure, and confidential test environment
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Wanted:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to problem-solve and attentive to details and accuracy, with knowledge of basic desktop computer operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to learn on the job and carry out oral and written instructions
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to use computer, telephone and various office equipment
- Standing and walking in the process of administering and proctoring tests
- Occasional stooping, reaching, crouching, repetitive motions
- Reasonable accommodations made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform job functions
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Organization and people skills
- Ability to multitask on a wide array of assignments
- Experience with typing and other computer tasks
- Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, etc.)
- Customer Service
Hours: 8:30 a - 5 p, hours may extend to 7pm and weekends
