Job Description:
As a Materials Testing Technician with CMT Technical Services, you will be responsible for conducting routine field testing of various materials to ensure compliance with industry standards. Your duties will include collecting data, reporting observations and test results, and promoting learning and advancement opportunities through training and certification programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a drug test. It is also preferred that you have an associate's degree or greater, knowledge of general inspection and testing principles, safety, and quality control/quality assurance principles, as well as active applicable certifications such as Nuclear Density Gauge and Hazmat, ACI, CAPA, WAQTC, ICC, and AWS. Additionally, proficiency in software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, Blue Beam, Adobe, and contract management software is highly desirable.
